Re: price range to sell screenplays. It really depends on who you are selling it to. However, last I heard the rate for screenplays for a channel like Africa Magic start from $1000 to about $3000 but this is really a ballpark. Some people buy screenplays for as low as 150,000 whilst others can negotiate for as high as 3 million naira or more. Again, it really varies and hard to give you a specific range.
For me personally, I do not look at the range of what other writers charge. I look at the quality of my script and what I think I deserve as a writer and I charge on that basis alone.
